1920 era 5 1/2 point rip saw marked Wedgeway. Blade clean and mostly bright and with very detailed bold etch, 28" long and 6 3/8" high at heel. Interesting apple handle is very nice with only minor wear, finish is 98%
Your guess is as good as mine on this saw. I've never heard of the maker and can't even find any information about the company. The saw has an early look to the handle and is reminiscent of saws made in the Midwest by Atkins. Either way, the saw is in great shape with very hard steel. The handle is slightly smaller in size, so if you have smaller hands and have trouble controlling a full size saw, this might be a good choice. Will make a nice addition to someone's ripping arsenal.
