Disston D8 27" 4 1/2 point rip saw from 1900 rates good+ overall. Saw blade is clean, 7 3/8" high at heel. Apple handle has moderate wear and 80% finish with minor check at top horn, but no major issues.

This saw is typical for rip saws that were used hard. The blade when I got it was ridiculously misfiled with a 3/8" hollow in the middle. I decided to file it out by hand which was a challenge to preserve the graduated teeth at the toe. The result is a fantastic rip saw which can really move through some stock. For those looking for a great saw for fast and aggressive cuts. Coarse tooth rip saws like these are not at all common.
