1900 era 26" No 16 hand saw with 5 1/2 point rip teeth. Blade is clean and mostly bright, etch nice and fully legible, 7" high at heel. Intricately carved apple handle has minor wear and a few dings, finish 90%
For some reason, most No 16 saws found are in tough shape. I don't know why that is, but finding a decent example is not an easy task. This one is in much better than typical condition. A very comfortable straight backed saw from Disston's Golden Age. As with all our first quality saws, this saw comes sharp, properly set and ready to cut.
