Back in the early days of the handsaw revival which Patrick Leach and I started, there were quite a few start ups which flourished across the land. One of those was Medallion Toolworks which offered a Dovetail Saw, a great example of which can be seen here.

This saw has atropical wood handle, and is fitted with an 8" blade which is 1 7/8" high. The blade is let into a solid brass back and is .019" thick. When I received it the teeth were terribly misfiled so I recut it with graduated rip teeth which start at 15 points at the toe and ending in 13 points at the heel. These teeth are filed with 8 degrees rake and hammer set. Handle is full across the grip but not uncomfortable. Will do great work for a bargain price.
