Custom Projects

This offering is for anything saw related not covered above, but is primarily aimed at advanced restoration.

Examples include but are not limited to:

Split nut repair or replacement. We can turn down new hardware to replace broken examples on your saw or create replacement hardware for oddball saws.

Handle repair or replacement. We can lengthen horns, refinish, repair or even completely recreate your entire handle out of the hardwood of your choice.

Creation of custom blade stock for bow saws or replacement of used up blades on backsaws. We use the finest Swedish 1095 Carbon Spring Steel for this type of work

If you can think of it, write and inquire, we have probably done it.

Custom work is billed per the hourly rate of $75. Estimate given at commencement of work but is not binding. Work is billed at actual time spent. $75 deposit required to begin scope of work. One hour minimum plus cost of return shipping. Satisfaction guaranteed!
