Disston D7 5 1/2 point rip saw from around 1950 has 26" long blade that is 6 1/2" high at heel. Blade has light coat of surface rust which will easily clean, bold etch hiding underneath. The handle is a hardwood plywood which Disston used right before they went out of business in 1955. There are a few stress cracks in the first layer of ply, but the handle will clean to be very nice.

This saw would be a great project for a first time filer. The teeth are perfect, just need a quick jointing and filing straight across with the supplied file. If you are wanting to try your hand at filing, this saw is for you.
