Not a saw or related tool, but a very handy tool to have in your shop. Made from the same spring steel that saws are made of, these tools offer a quick and easy alternative to tedious sanding. Two different scrapers are available, both are hardened to 48C which is a great compromise for long wearing edges and ease of turning a burr.
One is 4 7/8" long , 2 3/8" wide and .024" thick which is ideal for final smoothing or working in veneer.
One is 5 7/8" long , 2 1/2" wide and .032" thick which is ideal for agressive smoothing after planing or even sawing.
Add these valuable and inexpensive tools to your shop today by ordering one or both. Also consider buying a set with a 6" Mill file, the ideal file to prepare the edge prior to honing and turning a burr. Both ship in a ziplock plastic bag with a hard plastic edge protector as shown in the photo above.
