YS7 Fray 8" Sweep Brace with Rosewood Pad and Grips

Another interesting brace made by Fray of Bridgeport, CT. This example has a split frame but uses a threaded collar to tighten around the bit which is not common. Nice Rosewood pad and grips, pewter perfect and not flapped out like is seen on many models. Pad spins freely and wooble free. Plating virtually gone and the brace has taken on a nice patina. Looks darker in photo than real life. 8" sweep, perfect for chairmaking or general use.
